Delete your account / অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন

You can ask us to delete your Baki Khata account and the data in it at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted and what we must keep.

আপনি যেকোনো সময় আপনার বাকি খাতা অ্যাকাউন্ট ও তার সব ডাটা মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ করতে পারেন।

How to request deletion / কীভাবে অনুরোধ করবেন

1. Send us a message from the mobile number your account is registered with, saying you want your account deleted.
   যে মোবাইল নম্বর দিয়ে অ্যাকাউন্ট খুলেছেন, সেই নম্বর থেকে আমাদের মেসেজ পাঠান।
2. We confirm it is you by replying to that number.
   আমরা ওই নম্বরে উত্তর দিয়ে নিশ্চিত হব যে অনুরোধটি আপনারই।
3. We delete the account within 7 days and tell you when it is done.
   ৭ দিনের মধ্যে অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলে আপনাকে জানানো হবে।

What is deleted / যা মুছে ফেলা হয়

• Your account: name, mobile number, email and password.
• Your shop and everything in it: customers and suppliers, ledger entries (dilam / pelam), cash book entries, invoices, installment plans and reports.
• Login sessions on all your devices.

আপনার নাম, মোবাইল নম্বর, দোকান, কাস্টমার, বাকি-জমার সব হিসাব, নগদ খাতা, ইনভয়েস ও রিপোর্ট স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে যাবে। এটি আর ফেরত আনা যাবে না।

What we keep / যা রাখা হয়

• Subscription payment records (date, amount, transaction ID) are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. They are no longer linked to your shop's ledger data.
• Backups that contain your data are overwritten within 30 days.

Delete only some data / শুধু কিছু ডাটা মুছতে চাইলে

You do not need to delete your account to remove a customer or an entry: you can delete those yourself inside the app. To have other specific data removed, contact us the same way and tell us what to delete.
